Building permits are required for all construction unless specifically exempted by 780 CMR Section 110.3. In the case of a specific exemption written correspondence stating the nature of the proposed project and the exemption that applies is required. If in question, contact the Building Inspector.
BUILDING PERMITS SHOULD BE DISPLAYED IN A CONSPICUOUS PLACE ON THE PREMISES SO THAT THE INSPECTORS CAN SIGN OFF ON THE BUILDING PERMIT!
